Ive got a live jazz gig going on tonight! Two bands that my bro and I are in are playing at the mainstream jazz club on main and 5th (2120 main street i believe). Cover is 5 bucks, starts at 7, and there a total of three bands playing from 7-10.

Sekoya and 1LUV play @ Ginger62 a lot. Check out Five Alarm Funk too, Andrew Spence is one of the 12 or so musicians in that band.

i think barnone had a live jazz nite on mondays and tuesdays. i dunno if its still on, but it was really good in there.

I have to say this was a fun fun evening! There were easily over 100 ppl there!!!!!! We will be playing @ Jazz Boogie once a month, so makes sure to come on down if you dig our style of music.

Latin percussionist B-Filthy aka Miles Bigelow has peformed with groups like Sekoya, 1LUV and has recorded with k-os, graced us with his rhythms during our set on Friday. He has a show coming up this Friday with his band. Be sure to check it.

Java Jazz in New west. It's a family that runs the resturant and plays jazz. Every night i think they do a bunch of live jazz. And it's a great resturant to boot.
