Cuz if we're counting all DJs, even just since say 1995 that have played in Vancouver. I think its more than 1000!

hopefully its not a Fad. umm there are so many, think of all the clubs in Van, multiply it by how many days they are open, then multiply that by 2 (average Dj's per day playin in a club). I guess?!?!

If you count wedding 'DJs' and those jokes at Masterplan who spin at highschool dances, then YES we are definitely overpopulated.

i think 1000 would be a conservative estimate. If you're including anyone who has ever DJed at a club, bar, restaurant, lounge, rave, afterhours, house party, radio or internet broadcast; in the entire greater vancouver area.... i'm sure it could be upwards of 5 or even 10 thousand. You don't seriously think Boomtown & Beat Street's local customer base is made up of only 2-300 people??? even most of the 'bedroom dj's' i know have played out at least once.
