Chilliwack/Abby people do U like House?

There is a possibility of a house night in or near Chilliwack. From what I have seen however most clubbers are more into top40 & HIP HOP / RAP.

How many people would go to a club night if it was mostly house (various genres & maybe a little trance even).

I know there are 5 or 6 people on here from Abbotsford / Chilliwack & area & Langley too. But are there lots more who would come out to a house night, or would only 1 or 2 show up?

I have spun house (not locally) and people always come up requesting hip hop / rap tunes. It's OK but not really my thing.

Maybe a "mixed genre" night would be better. 20 minutes of house, 20 of hip hop ...

to many kids in chilliwack watch mtv or much music and think they know everying abou tthe "crib" and shit.... So in a short while ya might go well but it will go down FAST....

It ain't going to last at all....

dude i dont live there anymore. but i dont think it is safe to club in abbotsford. its not worth it. think of the children! lol ok all silliness aside. i really dont think there is a market out there. well there probably is but they are too scared to go to clubs in abbotsford. maybe chilliwack but i dont think it would do well there. the wack is all about sean paul and eminem.

electronic music will not have a strong,constent presence/following in abbistan or the wack.

Kids in abbistan and the wack are too busy being trend whores to give a damn about electronic music past a few all night dance parties at the pne!
"rave shit" music is only cool if youre on drugs,this is what 99.9% of abbistan&chilliwacks populus thinks.

Abbistanians are too busy murdering people and buying g-unit clothes to give "rave" music a chance.

There once was hope for abby&the wack years ago,but its since moved on.

Besides,anyone that goes to one of abbotsfords 2 bars will end up getting capped anyways!Especially if youre one of those raver homos!
