That's how my mom and I were before i moved out. Now we talk everyday and it's like shes a friend now. My mom was so sad when I moved out though, I was too but yeah totally do it for your relationships sake :)

I have to admit my relationship with my mom got better when I grew up and got a job and moved out. She really saw my potential and stopped thinking I was a child.

My mom stopped thinking I was a child after the nail in the 2x4 stopped making me cry. Then she moved on to making me drink Drain-O.

Yeah that was totally the same as me. I pretty much became an "adult" when I moved out but my mom kept wanting to buy me things for my new place. Actually she still does that lol.
