Me and My Paper
Well, I have been procrastinating aaaall semester, but now it comes down to this.....a face off between me and my 2 term papers.
I am writing one of them as a rhetorical analysis on a Xenadrine ad and I just found something very funny......there is a quote that says "When friends told me Xenadrine works, I had absolutely no idea that I'd be able to lose 22 pounds in just 3 weeks! Sexnadrine's amazing. No wonder it's #1 in America." and it has a * next to it.....so anyways, I wanted to know what the * was for, so I looked for the reference at the bottom of the page....and I found it! In the smallest letters, it says, *these results not typical. The before and after pictures are, I'm almost positive, 2 different girls as well. So in conclusion, I don't think Xenadrine works (although I've heard it does) because they are not confident enough to be real to their readers...... Another thing about me and my paper.....I have been wasting time on F&K the whole day, I have written 2 other short essays, and I have been procrastinating and procrastinating the start of at least one of my term papers....well, I finally turned off F&K for a while and sat down and wrote 1000 words.....then I decided to come on here.......again. Dumb move! Look at me, I wasted more time typing this post than I probably would have needed to complete another 500 words or so..... I wonder if anyone will read this? if you did, you are *special*. I just needed to spill something to anyone because I am holding myself hostage in this room, away from civilization, until I complete this, and posting is my only contact with the world..... uh oh, I've said too much. That is all. (for now) *Jen*
