If you don't know what your doing then DON'T FUCKIN HELP

Ya know, I absolutely fuckin hate it when a family member (particularly my father) tries to prove himself that he can do essentially anything and only in the end fuck things up royally and then in the end will cost me more money. Basically I need to get my brakes done on my car.. the dealership wants to charge me 350 for the service... My dad told me "fuck that get the brake shoe's and I'll do them"... Now I have no idea how to change brakes and shit. Last night we spent 5 fuckin hours trying to change the rear brakes... We got 1 on but the other we just had to put the originals back on...Because we were running out of time and patience. However now there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the rear brakes.... Although the tires on not dragging the drums are getting extremely hot to the degree that you can easily boil water off it. You can smell the brakes burning... Oh and keep in mind the worst part where the smell is coming from which is the area where we put the old brakes on... This has now cost me more money because in the end I am going to have to spend the 350 dollars to get them done... keep in mind that I spent 100 dollar for the brake pads and shoe's. Can't return the rear one's thats for sure.... I don't know why I keep on walking into this but enough is enough....
