at my work someone did the same sort of thing
but there was also a puddle of vomit on the floor infront
my theory is this:

the Guy was feeling ill, had to shit and vomit, so he sits down to shit and just as he's about to go an over whelming feeling to vomit hits him, so instaed of getting it on his shoes and pants he leans forward and the contraction of his stomach caused him to shit all up the wall.
that was gross
