Hmmm... Interesting. I must have missed that. That is frowned upon. I guess I leave it up to you to let your friend know that he might be banned indefinitely depending on the admins' vote in reference to that thread.

i was not suggesting that this community be ran a certain way. if that's what your thinking, and i never meant to insult the admin. i only suggested that rules be present so that users can maintain a level of quality on the site.

Again... I did suggest an acceptable size in that thread. This has been an on-going discussion for a long time, and for someone who's only registered for 8 days to suggest that we "note" another forums rules is a bit insulting, don't you think?

I enjoy the personal signatures. It gives the member character, like the avatar. Most of the time they are quite humorous. I wouldn't want to take that away, that's why I PM the individually directly to politely ask them to re-size or remove them if they become too big.

You're thinking of a *quick* solution. I'm trying to be democratic. I tried to compromise, and he chose to ignore it. Plain and simple.

I did indicate that it was a temporary suspension. And for a member to be banned indefinitely is not taken lightly, but trying to *sell* pirated stuff on the net is technically not acceptable
