Speaking of MCing over jungle. MC Fearless was awsome @ Blyss. His rhyming over Dieselboy was incredible.

Hmmm...Mc Skibadee with Ed Rush and Optical @ WEMF was the best MCing I have ever seen.

I love (good) jungle, but jungle MC's are shit, they have ego's the size of a small planet, and they rant and spout off through entire sets usally out of sync with the music. Not to mention that most of what they are saying is incoherant drivel. Oh and white pple from suburban North America should not try and do ragga.

that reminds me of what happened at NYB..LOL! do you all remember mc verbal assaian? LOL! i cant help it this is too good.
he walks up to liza (moon*petalz) and i at the beginning of the night and asks us if we are a part of the "junglist movement" i love when people pull shit like that..i told him i could care less and was there to have fun..but he stuck around liza for the rest of the nite...near the end he puts his arm around her and says to everyone "this is the only true junglist in this room" i wanted to laugh at him sooo damn hard.

I think it's just that VANCOUVER jungle MCs seem to suck for the most part. I have heard a couple that sound good though, but most seem to suck. But I agree with you on the incoherent drivel though. It would be kind of nice if some of them learned how to rhyme at HALF SPEED to dnb so you could actually understand what the hell they were saying. IMO, it should either be incoherent but rhythmic drivel, or intelligible lyrics.
