Big News for Breaks Lovers- twentyHz Wednesdays
Ok.... time to start the hype...
Starting Wednesday October 29th and every Wednesday there on in, the Lotus Sound Lounge is hosting "twentyHz"... a NEW weekly breakbeat night with residents CZECH, PRICELESS, & SODA, plus bi-monthly residents VINYL RITCHIE & ANDREW SPENCE . Full Spectrum sounds of the breaks with MANY out of town guests as well as rotating some of the best locals in the Vancouver breaks scene. Our time has come... breaks are reaching levels it's never reached b4 and Vancouver is one of the top world wide destinations for the sound! This thread is just a teaser.... full info and a flyer will be posted soon... for now I can tell you the first 4 weeks look like this.... As for the support...no doubt we need it... after having a weekly breaks night at the Lotus on Mondays for 2 years 4 years ago, and then doing a Wednesday at the Drink with the Pound crew... we thought we would never do a weekly again and focus on the "One Off" shows which we did with "NEXT Event Series"... all those shows went HUGE for us.... after having beers with Czech one night we came to an agreement that another weekly was in order... we'll be working or asses off to make this fly, you can count on that!

Just a note to say that ALI B from the most respected club in London FABRIC is 100% confirmed.
His residence alongside the Plump DJ's, Stanton Warriors, and Tayo is the most bumpin breaks nights in the UK. He is also the voice of the breakbeat community with his on air spot at Capitol FM outa London. This guy really knows how to do it proper like. Should be a stellar show!!!!!!!!!!!! Melting Man show is cancelled, but you can catch him at Spooky and maybe a Saturday show if we can get him a venue to play ....
Ali B is 100% confirmed. Don't sleep on his show... a resident on Fridays at London's best club 'Fabric' alongside James Lavelle and rotating guests Plump DJs, Tayo, & Adam Freeland.... Also the Vinyl Ritchie night is a 'C1rca Presents' night, where C1rca will have loads of giveaways where one lucky person will take home a pair of C1rca shoes of there choice from the 2003 catalogue!
