POUND Recordings We'll be holding it down all nite upstairs bringing the POUND vibe and sounds as only we can and have been since 1994. Behind the Decks: Filthy Fingers Seen everywhere from Balance Fridays, to Passion @ the Rowing Club and everything in between - Filthy's style can only be described as dirty, skanky and gauranteed to make you drop your panties. Emmanuel Ferreira World travelled, Sonar mix winner, tight mixing, Emmanuel's quickly becoming recognized worldwide as the authority on tech driven electro breaks. DJ Fluid One of the original founder's of POUND and a recognized professional throughout the international breakbeat community, Fluid's name is synonymous with bringing dark driving nu-skool to Vancouver. Phase Three Fast and rolling basslines, the darker the better. Phase Three has played with almost every major talent in the drum and bass scene - everyone from Aphrodite to Deiselboy, Sage to DJ Rap, he's done it all. Dropping the live shit: MC NeutrixX Dub style vocal business with flowing rhymes and fx, if you've ever played Playstation's 2 SSX Snowboarding...yeah thats him on the sound track. Akeel Live electronic percussion & turntablism that complements the music. Akeel adds to what the dj's doing with some fucking fast hands on the cut and the drum. doh. i work till 4am so i doubt ill be able to make it. i really like this friday ph1 night thing tho. and combining that, and pound, and nolans bday. sounds like fun. people who dont work should check it out. happy bday nolan, ill buy you a drink some other time. just remind me. :)
