Following the demise of Garage music in the mainstream, a new genre has been created or categorised Grime. Some of the artists that go under the label of grime include Dizzee Rascal,Taz,Shisty and Wylie. Grime is essentially a crossover between hip hop and garage. Although having read Hip Hop connection (a uk hip hop magazine). It seems as the UK rap community want to distance themselves from artists such as Dizzee Rascal and co.
