Zen & MC Biggie (formation UK) @ Submerge Mar 21st :: Only $8!!!

ZEN Formation / Grid Recordings UK  Zen has recently had his solo debut on Formation with Flying Cups b/w Conundrum hot on the heels of the heavy Turnstyle on Grid, turned around by Baron, together with various other releases on Grid, Zombie, Up Yours and Propaganda under various aliases as well as his own signature, and remixes for the likes of Twisted Individual, Generation Dub and Hazard, with all this earning him a nomination for Best Newcomer Producer at the Accelerated Culture Awards 2004. Somewhat the celebrity these days, with nominations, appearances in Knowledge Magazine and on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra it seems that no-one can hold this man down! Now the future holds various releases on Grid, Zombie, Up Yours and Propaganda under a mixture of aliases as well as his own signature, and remixes for the likes of Twisted Individual, Generation Dub, TOV and Hazard. His forthcoming tunes such as Monster Munch, T-Rex and Rhubarb and Custard are being championed by the likes of Grooverider, SS, Mickey Finn, Shy FX, Nick Blackmarket, Twisted Individual, Hazard & L Double to name but a few and these days Zen is a regular at Formation nights in Leicester and London, with numerous bookings scheduled across the UK, and with further releases in the pipeline and remix offers on the way in, we have been told by Zen the best is yet to come. w/ MC Biggie Formation/ Technique recordings UK  Biggie is one of the most promising lyrical talents to emerge from the Midlands in years, his powerful voice and distinctive flow adds class to any set he graces. An performer who has truly mastered the art of mc'ing Biggie is a professional who understands the balance between the music and the lyrics, whose voice becomes part of the show. Homing his skills on the Birmingham based sound system Ruff Intention, chatting to Ragga, Hip-Hop & Soul, it wasn't long before Biggie caught the D&B bug and began to work with fellow Ruff Intention member DJ Devize on Kool FM Midlands. Here he got the chance to work alongside MC Moose, MC Dynamite, Dj Twisted Individual & Dj Surge (Full Cycle Recs) as well as a majority of the Kool Fm London and Midlands crews. His close associations with Formation Records, Technique Recordings, Back 2 Basics and 3D Mode and his ever busy diary are testament to his ability and rest assured this is one MC whose voice you'll be hearing more and more in the years to come. yes yes.. and that's a really good price for some sic headliner action.. be prapared for some heavy beats from two of UK's finest.

Just wanted to thank all the heads that were there last night to support. You all made the night. Especial thanks to the WFB crew for helping put this little shindig together last minute. plus HUGE thanks to Zen & Biggie for putting on a tight show -- those two were having a lot of fun... chill guys too!
