Hey my name's miranda....... and i'm wondering if you'd be into a gig or 2. chekit....... esoteric deviations and the deviants productions are sister companies whose focus is to throw parties with a difference. We intend to support and educate for Vancouver's local charities and communities by throwing benefit parties. In the past we have raised awareness around street issues, the bcspca, and the youth food bank. This summer we will continue with our dream of being a compassionate party company with an outdoor, mutli-stage activist event called Revolution on August 18th. It is our dream to share it with those of you who are socially conscious and believe in the importance of charity..Revolution will be a benefit for a community arts group called collective echoes. You can check out their website @ www.collectiveechoes.com collective echoes is currently working on a project called the big picture where young artists will be invited and paid to put their voices up on billboards. Their target is the downtown eastside communities, street involved individuals and youth.Not only will your support for Revolution help to empower young people, it will also help the needy, as we will be discounting door prices with food and toy donations.And there will even be a little activism. One with house and trance, another with breaks, and drum and bass.
