Why are you shocked? Corporations sponsor most other forms of entertainment, why not large-scale parties such as Magic Mountain? If Molson started sponsoring smaller vibe-oriented raves then I would be shocked, but this is to be expected.

I agree with 24K... :Kimmie: I like the odd *pop* but chillin' and relaxing and enjoying the music with close friends with a "brew" in your hand seems a little more appealing to me lately...
Maybe it's the "outdoor" atmosphere...maybe I'm just getting old...I don't know, but I think the beer garden is an excellent idea...Heeheehee :Kam:

actually...i juat recently attended a rave that had kegs of beer...it was on the island...and let me tell ya the party was bumpin! just to fill ya guys in....at the partys you all attend ...there are people drunk there...we smuggles booze in all the time...this way its just alot easyer....dont worry about the vibe changing....trust me the vibe is alive and bumpin when the beer kegs are pumpin!:sixpak:

Drunken partying is fun... The last two parties I've been at, I've been very, very happy with my Rev and my extra's, but I agree with some of you as to how you sneak in alcohol to mah-sif's. The parties I've been to have been little, illegal things so the lack of security makes alcohol a non-issue, but I can hardly imagine trying to smuggle in booze past *gag* Genesis, or some other guestapo-security.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??? Beer gardens KICK ASS! Not to mention, then ppl don't feel like they HAVE to do drugs! I think it's great that Molsons is sponsoring this party, if it goes well who knows maybe more parties will be sponsored. It will make the scene look better if there are sponsors for the parties. I wouldn't expect that for the small parties, but hey, the large ones...WHY NOT?! Seriously, there shouldn't be a problem with beer gardens hun! You see, some people chose to do drugs, but we don't run away going, ahhh drugs! We just DEAL with it. SOOO....my point is, if you don't like the beer gardens and the drunk people...DEAL WITH IT!
