hey guys..you say that teh sound will be ggod ...try to make it good in the main stage..i knwo it must be hard...(retrictions..and large area to fill with sound) but pleeeseee the last twiste dpartys and shit (twisted) just dont seem to do it..i meen i agree i was liek a few feet away from people and coudl have completely normal voiced converstaion with them...COMON! sheeshers..if you gona bring buig names liek AvB ferry B&J etc you gotta setup to theircaliber you know!! not trying to dis nuthin just saying...it owuld be amazing for a louder room....liek the theatre rooms sound..mmmm sooom uch sound in there! *drools... THANX GUYS FOR LISTEING!!!

aaahhh yes i remember the pain. I was in tha breaks' room and came to the main room for Armin [twisted 2003] and I could barely hear shit! it was so weird. The volume was so low - that pissed me off. betta not be like that.

yo wasup peeps, this is Jamieson for those that i've met! Just wanted to say that this party is gonna be crazy, and stan we're gonna get tanked that weekend for our bday parties right? hehe
deeroc: is this just strictly a break comp? or is it open to all types of funk styles? (ie poppin, boogaloo, lockin, etc etc.) And is it for fun or are there prizes involved..? I guess my main question is.. how organized is it gonna be? :toasted:

one talent i would bring in is DEEP DISH!!! that is when you want crazy, intense, mind blowing, non-stop sweating and dancing at the same time Deep House!!! and the best live Drum and Bass DJ s ive had the honur to see has to be Stakka and Skynet LIVE!!! that is some fucking crazy shit!!!! ps...funny how when one certain talent (in this case the Plump DJ's) is wanted somewhere for a night and is like the biggest request....it never happens.....intresting thing to do would be (as the promoter) tell everyone they are coming, and than let them know just days before the party they've cancelled...when in fact it's still going to happen and give everyone a big surprise....just an idea to spice things up!!!! or maybe not....ok im outties

OK THIS HAS TO BE SAID AGAIN!!!!!! I AM SO TIRED OF HEARING PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SOUND IN THE MAIN ROOM AT THE PLAZA OF NATIONS. CAN I PLEASE MENTION THIS SO THAT ALL THE PROMOTERS OUT THERE CAN BE LEFT ALONE. THE SOUND LEVEL IS READ IN DB (a) and DB (c) NOW THE POLICE AND FIRE MARSHALL HAVE DB METERS. THEY CONSISTANTLY ARE TAKING READINGS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. NOW THEY DICTATE TO THE AUDIO TEAM WHAT LEVEL OF SOUND IS ACHIEVED. THIS IS BASED NOT ONLY UPON THE PLAZA OF ANTIONS BUT ALSO THE SURROUNDING AREAS. IF THE AMBIENT NOISE THROUGHOUT THE AREA AND ALSO OVER BY SCIENCE WORLD IS AT A LOW VOLUME THEY MAKE THE SYSTEM QUIETER WHEN THE AMBIENT VOLUME OUTSIDE THE VENUE IS LOUDER THEY ALLOW THE SYSTEM IN THE PLAZA TO BE LOUDER. THIS SUCKS BUT IT IS THE CITY'S WAY OR NO WAY. THERE IS UNFORTUNETLY ABSOLUTLY NOTHING THE PROMOTER THE VENUE OR THE SOUND COMPANY CAN DO ABOUT IT. THEY ARE AT THE DISCREATION OF THE CITY. IT THIS OR NO RAVES AT ALL.................SO TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT AUDIO LEVELS IN THAT VENUE DIRECT YOUR COMPLAINTS TO THE CITY AND NOT TO THE PROMOTERS THE VENUE OR THE SOUDN COMPANY. BASICALLY DO NOT COME ON MESSAGE BOARDS TELLING PROMOTERS THEIR SOUND WAS TOO QUIET OR COMPLAIN TO THE VENUES BECAUSE IT IS OUT OF EVERYONES CONTROL. TO EVERYONE ELSE IN HERE I AM SORRY TO SOUND SO RUDE BUT I AM TIRED OF PEOPLE THINKING IT"S THE PROMOTERS/VENUE/SOUNDCOMPANIES FAULT. IF EVERYONE WHO COMPLAINED CAME TO CITY PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEEVELOP MEETINGS INSTEAD OF JUST COMMING OUT AND PARTYING THEY MIGHT UNDERSTAND THE UNDER LYING STRUGGLE THAT EVERYONE TAKES ON TO GIVE YOU A KICK ASS PARTY. THIS CITY IS BY FAR THE HARDEST CITY TO GET ALONG WITH IN NORTH AMERICA. HAVE A GREAT TIME AT THE PARTIES AND REMEMBER SUPPORTING THE SCENE DOESN"T STOP AT JUST GOING TO PARTIES. THAT IS JUST THE BEGINING.

:keebler: dude, you are not hated. and peace, your point is well taken into account. I do not think anyone gets mad at the promoters, simply becuz why would they 'make' volume problems? obviously, it is not possible to break all the windows by turning the sound DB up all da way :smoke1: lol
And i opologize if i seemed to be mocking any promoters! I love the parties - ear threashing or not! its all good to me. respect :kam:

plus.. it's not the volume that affects the plaza sound
it's because the venue is so huge that it's difficult to control such a crisp sound that can travel and maintain it's crispness throughout (the main room) i don't need loudness . i just wanna hear a good track. i don't really care much for the clarity anymore... maybe that's why people moved onto breaks n house..
