yeah anyway, as far as i know apex will probably happen this year, but who knows how many promoters will participate ebcause apparently there were a few "accounting" errors last year.

OK lowdown number 2.
Every promoter I've spoken to so far said apex ain't happenin'. If it is my party will be postponed until late Aug or early sept. As well, if it is happening some information on the subject ASAP would be much apreciated. For those who haven't figured this out yet Apecks is a stupid rip off name I came up with so I wouldn't get sued. I've just been to apex every year for like 4 years and I couldn't stand to not have one. To those making derogatory comments please at least make some challenging suggestions as to who you want to see rather than just hating. Cause belive me we can get worthwhile DJ's. It's all about who you know.

as well......for my stage right now I'm in discussions with Universal Project(DJ Keaton-UK) as a headliner. For T.O. talent I'm now lookin at Slip and Slide, Logic, Lucy, Michie, and MC Tragedy. Still waiting for suggestions though....

as well, twisted - for whatever reason i do not know - has not gotten back to at least a few of the promoters that would really help make the event worthwhile (although in my ever so modest opinion, im not sure if it ever has been - a good premise but it just never really panned out).

and Global, you're 'Maxxed Out' right? if you are, then don't even get me started on the money grab shit you guys have pulled... makin the peeps that are actually puttin effort into the scene look bad - even if you could get some good djs there's a lot more to it, not to impressed.

Global is Global end of story. He's throw one show in Van City and it went well. Asides from that he's been in T.O. for the last year doing nothing but building a sick record collection. The reason he could get these DJ's he's talking about is because he's been playing out while he's in T.O. and has gotten to know some people.

When you put a lot of effort into an event and make money off of it (yah right), it's a job well done. When you try to throw something together overnight, put peoples lives in danger (god knows what would've happened if that speaker finally sparked up - use proper wiring at least from now on) and take off half way through the night - I call that a moneygrab. End of story - defend yourself how you will but that's how it happened.
