First off before anything, everyone from AGROculture, La Cosa Nostra and Dieselrave Productions would like to thank everyone who supported our show.
However, we regret to inform everyone that Rhythm Nation has been CANCELLED due to an extremely low amount of ticket sales.
This is the absolute worst thing we could have ever imagined and we sincerely apologize. Those who know us personally, you know it’s sincere. We realized we were in trouble about a week ago, and we put in 110% effort into trying to salvage what we could to ensure the party would go on. We held an emergency meeting and planned to scale down the event production, so at least people would still have a place to have fun. Still, tickets moved extremely slowly and things kept falling apart even after a large “party saving” loan was offered. Even losing money on this, which is an unthinkably large amount, we always understood the possible risks. Unfortunately, tickets were literally at 10% of where they should’ve been, which made it impossible to do anything further.
We have consulted and met with many different promoters in the scene and we have all come to the same conclusion; we are all baffled as to why the lack of interest of the show. I want everyone to know that we truly put our hearts and souls into the event right to the bitter end and we cannot express how sorry we are that we could not make it work. We want you to know this show was professionally handled; all dj deposits, flights, hotels, venue, sound and a lot more was paid upfront.
PRESALE BUYERS: Keep in touch with the infoline, and the usual internet sites and keep your tickets for a series of free make up parties and other events that you can get into at a discounted price. We are going to do our best to compensate everyone, but please be advised, it will take some time.
Once again we apologize for what has happened, nobody is more disappointed than us. This event has been our lives for the past four months, and we are truly heartbroken over the lack of support for Rhythm Nation, and hope the scene can prosper.
