It is correct that tickets are at Laramy and several other locations (call them first). Tickets unfortunately have to start at $55 each plus whatever the stores service charge is.

Why?

Because of the show falling on New Years and thus a day that the Plaza of Nations knows everyone wants to party, the venue costs were raised significantly higher than usual. In addition, we have to cover off the labour costs which are time and a half or more (stat pay) for things like Police, Fire, Paramedics, etc... Our out of town DJ's/headliners are also a bit more cash as a result of it being New Years and this all unfortunately means we have to have more expensive tickets.

I hope that clears things up a bit for some, but stay tuned as the line-up will be coming SOON!

60$ is still not a bad price for NYE......most restaurants/clubs and such are selling tix to their party for 100$+

$60 is pretty damned pricey, but what Kraig says is true. All labor, venue costs, etc are at least 1.5x as much. You can't even get into a restaurant downtown on NYE without paying $20 cover, and that's just to get in, hehe.
