Last summer a group of lucky party kids had a Close Encounter.
Everyone thought it was over and went back to their lives, but they were wrong and it was far from over.
Whatever it was that visited us left something behind...
and we've finally found a way to harness it's energy.

BFS [Kel] - Playing his own brand of Thick Electro Breaks, BFS has been tearing up the interior with his charisma and impeccible track selection. He decimated the dancefloor at Close Encounter, Nog, and Lost in the Sticks... now see him again, as if for the first time all over.

Joseph Martin [Kel] - This host of The Shakedown, and one man force of nature continues to amaze and astound. For the first time ever at a party, Joseph Martin will be weaving his own brand of Jump-up Jungle and Ragga for all you Yardie Bad-Boys out there. BOH! BOH! BOH-SELECTAH!

Sean Gunn [Kam] - What can we say.... at one point, for 2 and a half months, 3 out of 3 spots in our stereo were filled with his demos. This entertainer will spin his Funky Beats like there's no tomorrow and leave you drooling for more. 'nuff said.

Shift [Van] - That's right. He's back. If you haven't had the pleasure of having Shift assault your senses with his new crate of ass-shakin' vinly grooves and the sick, deep bass lines that adorn his brand of Bass-heavy House & Breaks, there is a void in your life that NEEDS to be filled.

Soulfire [Kel] - This long-time Kelowna Dj has been hand-picked to warp minds and expand realities with his Acid House set. When he takes the stage, find your friends and get front and center. It won't be duplicated.

Thanatos [Van] - Thanatos, aside from being an awesome guy) has a personal take on Nu-School Breaks which makes you dance. pure and simple. This mutha will make you want to dance LONG after your legs give out....at which point, it'll be your loss indeed.

These kids throw wicked parties, can't wait for this show! Last year's "Close Encounters" was my favorite summer party. (Shambhala excluded of course ;))

hmmmm... Wrong section tho perhaps? Last I checked this was going down in Kelowna.

I dunno... guess you're right, there defiantely isn't a dedicated section, but if you click on parties and promo there is one below the other two that isn't dedicated to a specific region. Definately no big deal tho, just noticed it was under "vancouver parties" that's all...
