actually i don't think that makes any sense, working in the industry i know the bar that i work at can do "delicensed" events (dry grads, film shoots, meetings, etc...) any time it chooses, without having to do any sort of paperwork, and we're a "class a liquor primary" just like plush...and i know there have been similar "delicensed" events at the lotus, sonar, and other clubs around town, in fact it's quite common....i don't think that this is an issue, and if there is some sort of "anti-permit" that you have to get i'm pretty sure that twisted would be on top of it, considering it only takes about two weeks to get a one-off license extension permit.

i think the reason that you don't usually see raves being thrown at clubs is not because of any licensing issues, it's economics, more to do with the fact that clubs make money selling alcohol, liquor licenses are expensive, so you'd have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to rent one "dry", and unless you can get two huge ones together on halloween where you know they'll sell out you'd lose your shirt trying to do a rave at sonar, or richards, etc...

I think we all need to stop perpetuating a matter that is nothing more than a petty rumor. And for those who support Solid; STOP creating drama!!

Without naming specific names, it has come to my attention that several promoters/ticket sellers/flyers or friends of SOLID have been spreading multiple rumours about talent not coming, or venue related stuff in an effort to sell more Dooms Night tickets... I am not sure if this has been trickled down from the actual members of SOLID or its management team, I am simply stating things as they are told to me. I find it interesting how all of these people that have passed on these rumours have advised they have heard them from "Solid-related" people. To alleviate this problem, please dis-regard ANYTHING you have heard unless it comes from me directly.

I frankly don't have time to address each one right now as I am at work. As soon as I have the time, I will.

I just wanted to post something quickly.

We are already pratically sold out with very limited amount of tickets still floating around. One more thing, all the artists for Dooms Night are 110% confirmed coming.

People should stop the rumours. Both shows are confirmed and will be awesome. Have a happy halloween.

Did anyone read the replies about Doom's Night it seems like everyone is going cause everyone else is. No one mentioned the fact that they are going cause Spooky 6 was at the same venue and it was an amazing party, wonder why no one mentioned that. That venue is kewl, but its so damn big, smaller venues are alot better and useually the vibe is better too. I'm so stocked for Spooky. I wonder which party will do better? There should be like a big bet or something.

There's another reason to go to Spooky and that is that its in its 9th year and is brought to us by two amazing production companies Swing Kids and Twisted and they have so much experiance in throwing amazing parties. The vibe will be amazing too.
