Wouldn't it make more sense to actually advertise an event in this fourm rather then advertise the fact that sometime in the future you may or may not throw an event, that would also require another thread....

Not trying to be mean, but if everyone decided that they should post two threads (one for the party, and one to tell us that they might throw a party), this thread would get pretty unorganized and hard to navigate.

Lots of other people do it. It is a way to get people talking about the show: what, where, who will be there.

If it was a thread about one of your dumb Hardcore shows then it be a waste of space.

teasers are used in everything from movies, to music, to magazines and new books coming out.

there are countless movie previews where they just tease you with a few images and the name of the movie. gets people talking.

I get your point, you like them so it's alright.

Do you get my point? I'm sure you love their events, but all these other companies have just as many people who love their events as much as you do. Yet they all make only one thread. Why? To be courtious to other promoters, not fill up a message board with several topics that are all for the same party. It's just like why we don't post promo threads in the lounge section.
