All Purpose is a 7 piece live funk band featuring a DJ, a clarinet, flute, purr-cussion, saxamaphone, congas, bongos and lots of bass. The band is incredibly fun, funky and cute. Bring a good pair of shoes cause we'll keep ya dancing for the whole show. And if that's not enough, two of the All Purpose crew, Michael Louw and Timothy Wisdom, will keep you moving before and after the band with smashtacular DJ sets.

The last All Purpose show was ecstatic so don't miss out on all the fun!

Also, the flyers for All Purpose shows are collector's items. Each one is hand drawn by our bass player, Candice Candypants. If you happen to have stumbled onto an ultra rare print version of the above flyer, bring it to the show. The first person who can correctly identify the 3 superb errors on the flyer will get a fantastic prize!! Good luck.

I've seen a lot of your promo's on here lately. I haven't been too any of your events but they all look really good and professional.

The All Purpose flyers are drawn by one of our bass players (we have two). The artist is Candice and she's the one in blue, blowing on the clarinet (on the above flyer). There's some old all purpose flyers in the 'Events -> Past Events' section of my website and I'm currently building the All Purpose website so it should contain all the flyers when it's done (hopefully this week).

Candice is really amazing at captuing the vibe of our band!

Thanks for the props. I've only been on FnK for about 2 months now so I doubt many people here have been to any of the events that I'm involved in. I'm always trying to add the element of fun to events so if you're not into serious partying, come out to see me sometime. Bizzzummp! This show is coming up soon...

Michael Louw will start the night off with his excellent selection of funk mixed with some live instrumentation.

All Purpose will likely take stage around 11pm. We've got some new material and a few tricks up our sleeves so be ready for some of hollering and whole lotta booty shaking fun.

After the band, I'll be blazing through some hefty tracks to keep peoples moving.
