I didn't know that Azim was all of a sudden a 'Celebrity'... and Ali Baba?!?!?? WTF!

I've been to auctions where no one bid and they actually PAID YOU to take the stuff away.

This auction seems like a prime candidate for that to happen.

rather waste my time and money on things more worthy.

This event is for foster children that are located in and around Vancouver's lower east side.

I feel that this event is highly beneficial, and not only have I dedicated every free moment I have to this organisation, but I also plan on buying a guy on that night. I don't see my money as being wasted and I don't see the men as being useless. Even if I end up on a date with a friend.....I will be happy to say at least my time, energy and money was well spent.

I'm not saying that the intentions are wrong, but I do find it amusing that putting men up for sale is 'entertaining' but if you put women up for sale then this would be something that would make headlines as being sexually demeaning.

I see your point in this being sexually demeaning.....but I don't really feel this event is. The only thing required of the men is that they go on the date with the woman that buys them. The women are obligated to take the MEN out on the date. So I feel that it turns out fair. And the men aren't getting naked or doing anything degrading.....
