Hola! I just found that forum and It looks pretty interesting. I come from quebec city where I was into the electronic music scene. I miss it and I try to find something like that here. I enjoy electro, minimal techno and IDM. I'm a easy going person and I try to always be nice (i-i not easy!) So here's myself. It will be a plaisure to know more about you next. Sorry for my writing accent, I'm not completly immersed into the English culture!

Well welcome to fnk and welcome to vancouver. I am originally from Montreal.... Born and raised there and I can assure you that you will enjoy the weather especially the winter time... Unfortunantly though there is only 1 place in vancouver that serves "montreal" style steamed hot dogs and fries and thats at "frenchies" on commercial... Feels like and taste's like home!...

Anyways if you are looking for IDM/experimental/Noise/Breakcore/ electronica shows drop me a a line and I'd be able to point you to a few resources here and there.

I hope this board has more intelligence than electrocalgary, cuz...well...i guess either way, I'd probably keep posting anyways:mindless:! Hey, whats the scene like for and jungle out in Van like? In cow-town, its rather small, so all our parties are tainted with other types of music. (Not that I dont like DnB, but everything has its time and place, and when DnB has to be play ed before Delta 9, something needs to be done)

DNB in VanCity is on an upward climb but like the stocks the shit takes a dive. No I'm just playin...We're getting a lot of quality shows coming thru and the vibes are usually tight. It's not a small scene by any means but its not as large as say Toronto's scene. Definitely and eclectic scene here. Got a lot of ppl who pride themselves for getting their asses out to support nights. We defintely have HYPE turnouts and shit gets really rowdy for reals.
