i'm makin the move from victoria to van in exactly two weeks... SO EXCITED!

a couple things i want to know:

LADIES! where can i get my hair done? i want someone amazing.

also, where can i get some good ink done? i have a back tattoo that needs a cover-up in the worst way. 16 + tattoo= horrible idea.

I'm too big of an art critic to ever actually have it on my body so i can't give you any pointers on a tattoo artist but my friend got a sleeve done at the Dutchmen in New West and the artists did a really good job. Apprently you have to book months in advance but from what i've been told it's worth it quality wise.

here are some local heroes:
Dutchman @ Dutchmen - the real deal dutchman takes about half a year waitlist. his team takes MUCH less time and are quite talented.
Jesse @ Black Water tattoos - 4 month wait. white guy with asian animal forte...what can i say.
Jeff Tam @ Monkey King - 4 month wait. AWESOME animals
Jay @ Trigger Happy - 1 month wait not as talented as the above but not a bad guy and the wait's a lot shorter

well, my lame flaming blue sun is pretty big, so i am going to have to get something massive overtop... so i want an asian-inspired theme with a waterfall and cherry blossoms and a koi fish... i think it will look rad and easy enough (i hope) to work in with my current one.

hahaha I know I know, Dave is such a busy guy it's ridiculous. My friend is getting a suit pretty much and most of the work has been Dave's. He just had a session a couple of weeks back. But if you ever decide you wanna try a new artist check out Geoff, he's new to the shop but he's been inking for awhile, he did a badass leg piece for me, which was a cover up. legtatt.jpg

Nice piece

I was originally going to do Jeremy for my zombie/dragon sleeve but he got real busy real fast. So i checked out the fall tattooing on seymour, great girl named Nomi did it, that pic on my profile is from session one, we've added color and shading to the zombie and just shading to the dragon. After certification for scuba, we're going to finish up the dragon and add wind bars to my entire arm (totally fearing the elbow) for a full sleeve

leg tatt's suck, I was told it was the easiest to do with minimal pain.. boy was I wrong.
