Boodang is proud to be back up in Edmonton and we are here to bring you a line-up that will cover every genres of electronic music you enjoy.

The Headliners for this event will feature:

George Acosta
Trance
Florida
With over 15 years of experience as a DJ and producer, George has helped change and evolve trance from an underground movement to massive festival experiences throughout the world. George Acosta is probably America’s most unique DJ and has undoubtedly been a major force in shaping the sound of trance. George proves every time he puts a needle on a record that "trance”, whatever the label, has changed, evolved, become a lifestyle, a culture… as well it should. He has played some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world, Berlin's Love Parade, Miami's Ultra Beach Festival and Rave on the Rocks to name a few. He knows his crowds so well because he is just as big a fan as they of the music. Just like the thousands he plays for, George Acosta lives it. George tries to maintain a close connection to the people who come to hear him play because like them, he discovered the music as a fan first. George Acosta is America’s representative in the global Trance scene, come see him for the very first time in Alberta.

DJ Icey
Breaks
Florida
Making his first ever appearance in Edmonton, DJ Icey has established himself as "The Don of The Funky Breaks". Icey cuts his teeth at the legendary EDGE nightclub in the mid-90s, and even persuaded The Chemical Brothers to play their first show 'Stateside' there. When The Edge closed in 1996, DJ Icey hit the road and hasn't looked back since. Now regarded as the "King of Funky Breaks" (Mixmag April 1998) by creating a sound that is uniquely his own, he's won a legion of followers all across the U.S. Furthermore, due to the electric nature of his set, it's no wonder that on any given moment the dance floor might be packed with breakdancers, B-boys, ravers, club kids, suburban kids, and even inner city kids all brought together by DJ Icey. Discovered by BBC Radio 1 DJ and longtime A&R kingpin Pete Tong, Icey became the first American producer to sign to his FFRR label in 1997 as an artist, and then the first American DJ to be selected to record a prestigious "Essential Mix". He is now on his CD Release tour “For the Love of the Beat”. Edmonton get ready for a funky breaks set you will never forget!

Donald Glaude
House/Techno
LA
Donald has been a club/party favorite and one of the most in demand artists in the country for over 17 years. He is one of those rare DJs who perceives their role to be that of an all-around entertainer and performer. Each night, his arsenal of track after funky track, seems to be endless. Donald's energy and ability to work the crowd has earned him a huge following and has positioned him as one of the hottest DJs on the circuit. There are only a handfull of DJs that "must be experienced live" and Donald, dubed "The James Brown of DJs" by Dave Aude, is one of these select few. Lately, all of Donald's spare time has been consumed with producing his own tracks, which will be "Pulled Out With Pride" by him at a later date, for his new record labels EDEN RECORDS and JACKED. With his dynamic, animated and energized personality, this is one DJ not to be missed!!!!!

AK 1200
Drum & Bass
Florida-D&B
AK1200, America’s original Jungle/Drum and Bass don has been pushing the sound since the music’s initial incarnation as hardcore breakbeat. With his latest release at close range he keeps bringing his sounds to the world as Drum and Bass and Electronic music as a whole both expand and mature. AK 1200 plans to be there leading the change for the breakbeat massive at every step of the way. More recently, AK and longtime colleagues Dieselboy and Dara came to realize that they, on their own had become the top three DnB DJ’s in the US, so what would happen if they joined forces? The answer of course, was world domination, and the Planet of the Drums (POTD) crew was born. AK1200 will put on a show that will have you dancing all night long.
