Ageha is like a bigger version of Raverside. Although the outdoor area with the swimming pool was pretty good.

My recommendation of Tokyo is "go pretty much anywhere and get lost". You may want to make sure you can figure out your way home again, though.

chaewang beach on ko-samui had the best nightlife in thainland by far!!!! i cant remember wich clubs i was at off hand...its late, and im a bit lazy to reach for my loneley planet.

full moon parties suck and are way to comercialized but nonetheless its a must see.

just be prepared to get san EVERYWHER!..like fucking everywhere. hadd rinn villige is kinda a cool little backpakcer gehtto with pedestrian only streets. i liked it quite a bit.

the three islands are the best ko toa,samui and pha ngan. stay out of pttaya...its fucking disgusting and filled with middleage,overwiehgt balding toothless british guys wh go their for sex tourisim.

and whilst your over there youll hear it over and over again..you must go to chiang mai. chaing mai is straight up brilliant.

by far the best guesthouse i stayed at and ,many other backpakcers agree, is called 'tonys place' in ayutthaya a city just north of bangkok known for amazing ruins....

and just say no to ladyboys!..no matter how much beer chang you drink.

Revolver, you seem schooled, what's a safe, secure, clean place to stay at on Kao Sahn road? I don't want luxury, but a western style bathroom/shower would be nice.

chiang mai is what revolver said. stay for a week or so or you wont really get it.

koh lanta is a beautiful island, not over run like the 3 in the gulf.

Grapes...check out rambutree hotel, one street up from koh sah, on the left. actually, most places on that street (rambutree) are alright...a bit quiter then koh sahn at least.
