Disaster in Chicago

So I call my brother tonight just to see how he's doin, and (I'm watchin CNN at the time) and I see like half a precinct of cops and half the chicago fire dept like a 5 min drive from my brothers place @ Midway airport. Supposidly (due to extremely heavy snow fall conditions, ice, etc) a landing plane skidded allong the landing strip, barrelled thru the chain linked fence and on to 55th street (a known heavy traffic area) knocking out about a block of motorists...Last I heard there were a lot of people hurt, but no numbers were released

ya, my parents were on the very last flight out of chicago that day it happened! the runway was an ice sheet and they had to defrost the plane before take off. crazy shit!!
