NI's FM8 VST

One word....WOW! Such a great program Creating interesting synths has never been so easy. Audio load is perfect, hardly uses any resources, and the control over each parameter is brilliant! Definately going to be one of my fav tools for a while. As Ms. Myshell mentioned in the other thread it is available with Komplete (which also includes AKOUSTIK PIANO, BATTERY 3, ABSYNTH 4).....The Easy Edit Page is sooo cool, you can have more control of adjusting each of the parameters yielding great sounding lead synths. The arpeggiator is pretty cool too if you're a big fan of scale falls and what not. :) The feature which I was most impressed with was the sound morpher. The sound morphing feature is incredibly simple yet unbelievably powerful. Just drag'n'drop sounds directly from the Kore Browser onto the four corners and you can now 'morph' your current preset with the timbres of the additional sounds you selected. The movements can of course be automated. (hell ya!) An ingeniously creative way of designing completely new and fluctuating sounds. major w00t! I just started creating my own bank of sounds last night after finding my way around the program, and I'm seriously stoaked on this plug in..which was really quick to learn. Over all....great VST 9/10. :y: here are some screen shots of the beast in all of its glory! =)

Will have to try this. I have Komplete, but not the newest one.. Is Battery 3 any better than Battery 2, really? meh. Am stoked for this.. just really getting into FM synthesis lately.

If you have Battery 2 that's fine...imo Battery 3 isn't worth it...

ya, I wasn't completely sold on the FM7 but with this one, I'm almost sold on using it exclusively for my lead sounds....The Sound Morpher is the coolest feature I've seen, its similar to that blending feature on Sculpture, but with way more control and a ton more flexibility. Its totally an unfair comparison comparing it to the FM7 simply based on the amount of new features and more flexible support with Kore.
