studio monitors

I'm currently looking for studio monitors. Do you guys have any idea where I can try out some speakers?
I tried tomlee and they had great speakers but I wanted to try
EVENT ASP6 or 8 which they didn't have.

If there is somebody using these speakers, can you give me some idea about them?

Thank you

without good acoustic treatment ... yes. these speaks are meant for a good size room. the stereo field is immense and the drivers are very powerfull lots of sound will hit the wall and bounce back screwing up your mix if not properly dampened.
