Serato Peeps (midi)

Hey I picked up a M-Audio Trigger Finger yesterday for 1.8 and let me tell you. Soo, I saw a few of your posts related to the midi controllers on scratchlive.net (m/wave djs) and you're right on the money. First off if you don't already know the shit you can do with auto loops is mind blowing. Pair this with a easy to use 16 pad controller that you can actually see in a club and it can make one incredible weapon. I bought it mainly b/c I wanted to use my computer as a visual monitor while using the pad as a keyboard. I have the cues and auto loops mapped to the pads, the pitch control to the sliders(has to be in internal) and some other rotary knobs to gains, movements, ect. I am constantly jumping to dif cue points and auto looping pieces of music which stick out to me so this makes mixing that much more fun. Buy it!

Matt

yea, i've been meaning to pick up an Akai MPD24 or something, but after playing on Hubbz 57 on NYE, I've instead decided to just get me a 57 :)

also, my other reason for going with a 57 - I bring enough crap to my shows as is (mixer, SSL, EFX, various stands)... adding a midi controller to the mix leaves me with even more gear to lug and more DJ booth space to figure out how get all my crap in there...

I hear you man if I had the money to buy a 57 I would but right now 150$ is just a bit more economical compared to buying a mixer.
