Im looking to upgrade mixers, Id like to have a mixer that I can use to play out with as well as record with, I found this one on craigslist for 400$ anyone know this mixer? is it a good deal? or should I look for somthing ults? Im playing tech house/electro on vinyl, but am looking to go to sernto.....

That mixer is crap. well it sounds amazing, but the esthetics like the placement of knobs and how the faders and everyting work are just retarted. i agree with SOO. don't get a Allen & Heath unless you know how to use them properly. or else it will just seem like an expensive paperweight that a normal ol mixer could have done.

If you really want a good high end mixer with stuff you can use. go for the Pioneer 500 or Eckler has some nice ones too.

I agree about the gain knobs but I fuckin LOVE this mixer. The filter on that thing is perfect for the genre you wanna get into. Very solid sounding mixer too

HATED IT! I exchanged mine for a Rane Empath after using it for less than a week. It's garbage. I'm sure it's better for house than for my style, but still... there's gotta be a better choice.
