DELETED audio help
ok i had a folder that got deleted, & wiped off my recycle bin.
read up on some recovering software for the mac and i guess Data Rescue became the apparent piece of software to use. here's the scenerio: while DR helped recover a lot of files [even stuff from last year], most of it's in pieces. i'll have songs that are only 1/10 of its original size... they might be part of the myriad of partial "M00094.mp3", "M00095.mp3", etc files that got recovered. -a song titled "benassi & bowie - dj" would just be labeled "dj.mp3" after a recovery. equation: a) the folder that got deleted was added to itunes library. b) nobody in the house touches my mac. a + b = c) itunes may have deleted the whole folder since i didn't purchase these songs from itunes? [beatport, audiojelly, promo, d/l, etc] -there are at least 3000 broken files... hence the reason why i won't just shuffle through all the "M000xx" files. -i can't organize the files from the time they were recovered [ie. M00010 created on dec1,08,12:01am M00011 created on dec1,08,12:02am etc. anyone have a solution to this? freak spent 99$ on this POS... there's gotta be a more efficient way of recovering..
