I've been using my technic's for over a year and have had no problems.
Generally affordable, loud as fuck and sturdy. Not the greatest sound quality, but definitely not the worst either. The half-cups take a bit of getting used to but they work pretty well. I'm curious to see what the technics DH1200s are like, but from the design they probably have the same issues as Sony's http://www.turntablelab.com/headphon...-rpdh1200.html |

Ok handsdown the best Dj headphones on the market right now are made by "Misitry of Sound" but good luck in finding a pair around town they seem to be very elusive. I've had mine for 5 years and they not only still sound great they have little or no wear and tear on them at all. Now the technics are really good primarily because they are reinforced and deisgned to take abuse in the one spot where most headphones fail which is the joining area between the phone and the head support. Technics, HDJ's and a few other brands @ www.masterplan.ca

sony sais that they have recently redesigned the joint there due to mass complaint about breaking, but by the sounds of it, they will only last an extra month. |

^^^^ Those are the next head phones doom is going to buy. As for his current headphones, they would be Pro-Luxe Pro-40's. They cost doom $14 and are far better than the goddamn Sennheiser ones he paid $200 for. Hmmmm.... apparently the proluxe headphones doom uses can be purchased for about $5 at various online stores. Doom is now going to buy pile of backups. |
