Apple doesn't offer discount on sales of quantity so I'm still not sure how a group buy makes it any cheaper. I've followed Apple for quite a few years now and they don't let their resellers sell product cheaper than what you find at the Apple store.

what he is saying is true. all the stores that sell it (for example, best buy) hardly make ANY profit off it. my ex works there and he gets things for cost plus 10% off... so yeah he basically told me that best buy like makes MAYBE a dollar or two per sale.
