Morning after pill.
have any of girls taken it?
would you go in for a friend and get it for them.. if they were to scared.. or would you make the boy go get it cause they were stupid and didnt have acondom.. though you shouldn't boink anyways? wut are your guess' thoughts on this lil'pil that makes you sick for a day just so your not preggy/your girls not preggy!

i think that anyone that is going to *boink* as you guys put it, unplanned and without a condom, should have herself on a lifetime supply of birth control anyways.. (or at least a condom with her at all times....) if not she's just being sososo irresponsible...
I think that the morning after pill should be reserved for more serious things, such as rape, NOT for stupid ppl that choose to have sex without any protection.....

i think it's sweet if the boy is receptive and willing to take into the account the further implications of post-sex.
the day-after pill is there to take, so it should be taken, but not as a first-hand contraceptive.

<- Was stupid a couple times and used the MAP as birth control after...... not the greatest thing....... I feel bad 4 the girl cause she goes through quite a great amount of pain....the graval n shit... makes em fucked up... No Condom or No form of birth control = NO SEX thats why you can always revert to ORAL SEX !!!!!!!!!! Can't have sex - Gimme HEAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most of the time i go in with the girl an of course admit to the stupid mistake to the doctor...the doctor just shakes his/her head most of the time and says " you guys should know better "

juss some info for those who are curious. I do my research, as best as I can... The morning after pill is only effective within the 72 hours after unprotected sex... you need a prescription, so just go to your nearest walk-in-clinic... it makes SENSE that you would go get your own pill, rather to make your friend get one for you, seeing that it's a decision that you and your partner made together, and doesn't really involve your friend in any way. besides, what a doctor may prescribe for one person, may not be suggested for another person. eg: if some one has allergies to something... The content of some MAP's are basically the same as an X amount of BCP's (birth conrol pills) so sometimes the doctor will prescribe you 4 days worth of regular oral contraceptives for the use of a MAP. I think the nausea comes from the fact that you're basically over-dosing on bcp's. That's why chicks are advised to take a gravol (anti-nauseating pill) ahead of time, so you don't end up pukin up the MAP's and having to buy another batch. Then there are morning after pills that are specifically made for the morning after purpose.. Such as plan-B and those don't cause as much nausea as the regular oral contraceptives... they are just two handy dandy pills taken in 12 hours intervals.. BUT PLAN B costs up to 35 $ and it's cheaper to have your doctor prescribe you regular oral contraceptives, which amounts to about 13$ plus the price of gravol..But when it comes to pregnancy, I'm sure that money shouldn't even be an issue. hold on a second. accidents happen, even when a condom is on. I had to go get the morning after pill for a girl one time, cause the condom broke inside her. There are exceptions ppl. But ya, no form of protection = no sex, just head. and lots of it.

ya i've had to have it twice.
not a good idea. one of them was because i was stupid ... bad mistake the other time the condom broke. i was scared to go, i was scared that it might not work. its the worst feeling in the world having to go and get that shit, thinking that maybe it wont work...and u might end up being pregnant. i would go with a friend in a heartbeat, i would never let me friend do that alone if she was scared. there are some instances besides condoms breaking that you just cant help. rape?! it happens...its not like some guy thats raping you is gonna take the time to slap on a rubber. the morning after pill made me SICK the first time, beyond belief...omg....i threw up...not fun, cause i was told htat if i threw up on it then there was a HUGE chance i was gonna end up pregnant. thank goodness i wasnt. i regret the fact that i had to take it. and dont forget, if yer having to go on the morning after pill because you wer having unprotected sex...maybe you should always ask the doctor to get tested!!!! be safe people.. PLEASE!!!! i never want to hear that any of you on here have aids, or are gonna have a baby when yer like 17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be smart!

the morning after pill is there so that you dont get pregnant. sure it shouldnt HAVE to be used every time you have sex, or make a mistake... but it should be there so that you dont fuck up yer life. what about little 16 year olds with a baby? without jobs, not finished school? the first time they have sex they dont haev a condom...they're drunk or something.....its ok to let them get pregnant and bring a child into this world?!?! without any love? children should be brought into this world through love and want. never ever just to learn from a mistake. thats fucking retarded.

As for the side effects...the first time I had to take it I took 2 gravol (it says to only take one) and instead of feeling nauseated, I just fell asleep. The second time I totally forgot about gravol and I was slightly nauseated. I recommend taking gravol...just make sure you set yourself an alarm so you know when to take the second pill!

^ really? you don't need a prescription? i was told that I needed one, but come to think of it, now I really don't know where I was told that. And as for the gravol, I took two too :( I PASSED OUT for 5 hours. and I had a paper to write. but even if I got a prescription the price remained as 35$ for plan b and 13$ for ovral, i can't imagine it being more expensive than that yikes

bitchin.. ive done both... i took te pill once when the condom broke,.. and it was fine but ive had friends who have taken it and been sick... its jsut like a large dose of birth control.. but apparently u arent supposed to tkae it more than once in your life... i'd say if u can get on the pill asap then u are more worry free if u use condoms and the pill... i've also gone in with frioends but generally they have to check your heart and shit before they give it to you cuz there can be complications.... but they are really nice about it and seem to think its better that u are being responsible... generally its like ten bucks and it comes with grabol or something to take for your tummy cuz some people get sick

i think it all depends where you go.
i had to go in with a friend once when she had to get it. she didn't have to pay for it or anything, it was all free. i guess it depends where you go though? this was the youth clinic (and with them like everything is free) so i guess that's why. but if you need it, it's there. (even if you can't afford it) i've never had to take it, but it doesn't look fun.. my friend didn't feel very well at all (even with the gravol) and had to sit through school all day. ick.
