One of my good friends from high school, Shannon, moved to London where she was working as a research assitant @ UW. I was always really worried about her, 'cause she always got into some really interesting scenarios. She'd always be calling me 'cause she'd need a ride home from some bar where a guy had ditched her. Anyways, things kept getting worse and worse, and it seemed like it was every night I was getting a call on my cell because she had gotten herself into another mess. We started going to clinics every two months or so to get her checked out. She said she was allergic to latex -- which I think was bogus, and that was her reason for "bare-backing" (so to speak). It was just a matter of time before she got something. She wound up picking up Gonnerhea from some sleazy guy she had slept with back home. You know, after you spend enough time in the waiting room at the clinics, you realize that it isn't just dirty people who are getting this stuff....it's everybody. She still doesn't use protection and she still has random partners. Shannon says she likes the thrill of the unknown. Which is really going to suck when she gets something worse. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- So, basically that's how I got started with the whole school programme, going into schools and talking about STD's and it was really scary how many kids didn't know shit about them. The whole thing was based on not just going in and saying don't have sex, but about making sure that you know that risks involved. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Boy, I don't know your history, so I can't make a judgement. Unless you want to be the slut?

Am I blind because i dont see any refference to his/her gender in the original post. Anyways, if you are a true friend to this person I think mentioning the fact that constant sex with random strangers is not the smartest things. Just make sure that he/she is aware of the consenquences (well, they probably are, but just remind them.. some peopel just need a slight kick in the bum). But don't barge in or start lecturing them like their parents would do. Sluttiness isn;t always a phase, some people need to be sat down and told what can, or is happening because of it, and that you care and you dont want these things to happen. You can also suggest other, safer ways of getting regular sex if its something they can;t stop doing. buy them sex toys, hook them up with a friend with benefits if needed. I have to agree with diva, letting your friend go on with this lifestyle without saying anything, doesn't make you a friend in my mind, just a bystander. And Valerie.. sorry but by the sounds of it, this person falls into the definition of slut. slut ( P ) Pronunciation Key (slt) n. A woman considered sexually promiscuous. A woman prostitute. (omg, that was the first time i ever looked up that word and it DOES only pertain to females.. that makes me sick. iw onder if there is a REAL word for a sexually promiscuos man, considering there is numerous of rtheir fmale counterparts) she sounds sexually promiscuous to me. I think you girls need to learn to read before you jump in. I don't see where Chat Noir made an attack on Sammy... It seems as if a bit of miscommunication and confusion occured... where Sammy might of thought Chat Noir was referring to him in the thread, whereas, CN explained, and told Sammy that he knew nothing of Sammy so he could not relate the situation to Sammy, but hey, "he 'made fun' of me/my friends online... what better way to prove our point than by beating him up for it!" God I love logic.

actually you dont really know the history behind this post.. i was talking to sammy while i posted my reply. CN is a friend of his from his building, and if you knew sammy or i then maybe you would understand that we say things liek that all the time. why am i explaining myself to you? its more of an inside thing i guess

I feel in love with my best friend (she girl me guy)and eventually we dated.She called herself a slut and a whore when we were going out ,it was very uncomfortable for me as I really couldn't say anything because unfortunatly she was, but I really loved her anyways.Surprise she cheated on me like she cheated on everyone else but I loved her so much I wanted her back.So we got back she cheated on me again. She said before hand it would be difficult not to cheat on me but she would try her best because she truely loved me.So just trying to be friends with a slut is very difficult because they don't respect themselves so how can you respect them.It is very difficult to understand and like a slut when something like that happens to you.Let alone love them after they cheat on you and tell you that they still love you and expect you to love them back.
