were you allowed to have intersexual sleepovers??

Since parents have become so ummm- liberated over the last frew decades I'm wondering how many of you were allowed to have memebers of the opposite sex over
for a slumber party

and if so could you two share a bed

I was never allowed to have boys sleepover in my bed - But when i hit about 20 they could sleep downstairs on the futon if they were too drunk to go home or whatever

but most of my guy friends (and all of my boyfriends) from about 16/17 onward were allowed to have their girlfriends sleepover
I mean their parents must have known sex was happening..no one is that dumb -
I know, I know double standard - or maybe it's cause I lived in PoCo

So how about you?? Sleepover....

I've had sleepovers.

And I don't think my parents were so stupid they didn't know what was going on.

They just warned me to be careful... and they didn't like it much if a different girl said 'Hi' to them every Sunday morning.

So you wanna sleepover??:c-tard:

from about 16 to 19 (that's when i moved out) i was allowed to have bfs sleep over (OMG) sometimes even in my room!

also, my sister is allowed to have her guy friends sleep over when they come over from the island. and it's _completely_ non-sexual but intersexual.

I sleep over at my bf's house all the time. His parents don't mind. But we've been dating for more than 1.5 years, so i think they've already sorta figured things out on their own.

My parents on the other hand, they know my bf, but he can't sleep over!! Oh hell no.. I'm almost 18 (3 months) and I'm still not even aloud to have a boy in my room. lol. So no way they would be able to sleep over.

My guy friends have been allowed to crash in the basement if they didn't have a place to go or were too hammered TO go, this was happening since I was about 15 I guess. I still don't think I'm allowed to have guys in my room with the door closed, that is if they aren't totally really good FRIEND guys. This is probably partially because I have younger sisters in the house and it isn't the best message to send. Ever since about 17/18 I've been sleeping at my boys house, I never thought my mom would allow me so I started off by saying I would sleep on the couch or in his little sisters room. I guess it just kind of progressed into me not saying I was sleeping on a couch or something, but I still haven't outright said I slept in his bed. My parents trust me though, and my mother knows whats going on anyways. But yah, I still can't have boys just come over and sleep in my room with me or something.

I still have my little bisexual secret though; I can have girls sleep over and my parents won't suspect a thing muaha.

^^^ That was my situation up until a couple weeks ago! I've always slept over at my bf's house...my parents would consent to it w/no problem...plus we'd always go on little trips and stay in hotel rooms together---but when it came down to him staying at our house, that was a big no-no! 1 year passed by, still not allowed, 2 years passed by, still not allowed, 3 years....bingo! Haha...really, REALLY funny.
I think for them it was more like, if they didn't see it then they wouldn't have to admit that I was getting older...it's not like they didn't know that we were sexually involved...my mom and I talk about it and stuff (we're really open w/one another)...I think it was more the thought of it happening knowingly under their roof. Their little baby. =)
Thank God that phase is over. Sometimes it would drive me nuts...because it was so weird that I could sleep w/my bf at his place for days, but him sleeping over here...no way!

I'm not aloud to have guys crash, even if they're too drunk (but then, that's because I'm not aloud to drink at all either, since I'm not old enough and to get to my house would mean they drove drunk since I'm still learning, so that's a no-no). I could see that maybe changing once I'm 19, but who knows.

I'm not technically aloud to be sleeping at my bf's house either, but I do it anyways. My mom would have like a panic attack if she knew. She told me before she doesn't want me having sex until I'm 25! lol and then she told me that she knew I would do it before that and to be safe. But if she knew I was sleeping at a boys house, she would just assume that we're having sex all night and that's all we do, so that wouldn't be good.
His parents know, mine don't. But that's our relationship. I don't talk to my parents much, we're not that close.. never have been.

^ hahaha My mom seems to think that (the having sex all the time).

Well.. I guess I kind of am having it alot but thats not ALL we do :kam:

And Chris you are right, it is different with guys because they aren't the precious little baby girls that could end up popping out a baby of their own. I've seen double standards like that happen in many of my friends families. The girls, who are older than their bros, had to be in earlier, couldn't drink, couldn't have guys over. But the younger males could wander the street late and night, the father would feed him alchohal while camping or at parties, and he would congratulate the boy when he "got some". Soooo fucking stupid. I know there is more of a danger for girls to get raped etc at night, and that theya re the ones that get pregnant and end up taking care of the child alot of the times, but fuck you dont have to FEED your boy alchohal and let him wander the streets until 3 in the morning.

My boyfriend (of 2 years) has only ever slept over at my house when my parents aren't home. They don't know this either. My boyfriend is only allowed to sleep over if he's in a totally different room (the rec room--on the couch). How old am I? Yah. I'm 22 in August, and he still isn't allowed over.

I have been sleeping over at his house ever since the first weekend we started going out. My parents think I sleep on the couch still. I never ever slept on the couch, unless he was there sleeping with me. But, we'll let them think what they want to think. They must know that we've been sleeping together. (THEY MUST!) we've gone camping, to hotels, to my cabin(where there's only one bed) and if they don't know that we are sleeping together, they must be blind!

My parents are silly.

ever since i was about 14-15..i've been allowed to have guys sleepover..majority of these guys were just friends though and my mother didn't really care..actually..she always prefered me to keep the door open..but i never really told her til the next morning that i had a friend over..so she couldn't really tell me no..i have my own bunk bed so i guess they kinda slept in my bed..=)

I never had close guy friends who I saw often enough until a couple of years ago, and then he and I started dating anyways. :kam:

My parents started off with "he or you sleeps on the couch!", and for the first while we did. Then he "accidentally fell asleep with me" in my bed (fully clothed, door open), and it just sorta progressed from there.

My boyfriend NOW slept on my couch one night, and has slept with me since (at my house). At HIS house, his parents said "Absolutely not!" and banished him to the couch. Recently we started sleeping together in his bed, and they haven't said anything to either of us, so yay! Snuggles!

my parents dont like anyone staying over ever. we are private people i think that is why but i never really had many people stay at my house as a result. when i lived on my own for a year or so there were people sleeping everywhere tho ha. althou my parents recently let me bring along a male friend to calgary for a trip. but then again i told them he was gay, i only told them that because they are too immature to understand a guy and girl can be JUST friends..i find it really fucking annoying when my mom is like "sooo do you like so and so" and she's talking about one of my dawgs or sumthing its like wtf is wrong with you?

I'm allowed to sleep over at my bf's house, and he's allowed to stay at mine. They trust him enough to know that he's not going to be shit to me, so it makes life a bit easiar for me. :)

i could have girls stay over, but i never have friends over at my place anyways. that's one of the reasons my parents don't really know any of my friends. but i never have people over in the first place because of my parents work and sleep schedules. i don't like disturbing them like that, and they prefer it when i don't, so i just don't have people over. it's easier that way.

I've always been allowed to have friends stay over - male and female.

But I haven't been allowed to stay over at my bf's house, or he hasn't been allowed to stay at my house, we've been together 2 years. If he was to stay here he'd have to stay on the couch downstairs .. and thats no good. But tonight that all changes ... they've moved into a new house and I'm staying there tonight.

i'm not sure if this was directed to me or not, but..

i've only been to 1 rave and had to make an excuse for it. i told her i went camping with my bf and his sister's family.
i'm not old enough to go clubbing yet..
and i'm sure he can sleep anywhere in the house but just not in my room.

I've always been alowed to have guy friends and bf's sleep over for as long as i could remember. my mom has always been relaxed as far as my sexuality is concerned. I've had one or two boyfriends that couldn't have girls even cuddle on the couch with them at home. it was strange because i never had those boundaries but whatever I guess we cant all have relaxed hippy mothers like myself.ving

they've always been cool with things. they realized that if i was going to have sex, then i was going to have sex. if things were kept quiet, they didn't mind. in fact, mom even kept me supplied with safes for the first little while.

they used the harm reduction approach in other areas too. if they knew i was going to go to a party, they'd come pick me up whenever i called. they'd even boot for me if i asked. while booting for me isn't really harm reduction, it still gave them an oppurtunity to know what i was up to, and to give me advice about how not to flail and such.

(i find it odd that they were so open about things like that, but yet are incredibly conservative otherwise.)
