Would you rather drive drunk or stoned ?

I got my car on friday, and my licence on Wednesday.
We went to the pub yesterday, and of course I was the designated driver, cause those friends I hung out yesterday are all lazy asses and they are 20 and dont have their licence yet...
I had some drinks, because my friends convinced me.... I wasnt drunk, but I felt the drinks. I was driving fucking fast on the way home.
When I am stoned I drive sooo slow and carefully, but I feel soo insecure and my reactions aren´t good...
What do you think is more dangerous ??

yea that would be a good idea. I will be very careful, of course, because I don´t want to get in shit. I had to drive in the city centre, there are no cops at 3 o clock in the mornin, so I risked it.
The thing is, all my friends here drive pissed drunk or stoned, but they learned to handle it.... I couldn´t do that, I have not enough faith in myself.

i have been smoking pot for so long, i think i may be a perma fry.
i can at least drive stoned, but i wouldnt take the risk with alcohol in your blood.

yeah, i would never drive drunk...if you have a drink or 2, well at least wait an extra hour or 2 for it to wear off...and i dont smoke pot...so i never have to worry 'bout that...too much risk, play it safe :)

Doing either is fucking moronic.... hands down. I've had two friends killed in spearate accidents by drunk drivers and my cousin killed by a driver who was stoned.

I have zero respect for anyone who isn't responsible enough to plan ahead and take a cab or find somewhere to stay etc.... you're all fucking losers.

Either way, taking the bus or calling a cab would be the best choice...

drive home stoned! your a lot more causious, well i guess it depends on who you are and how regulary you smoke pot, but getting shit faced and driving is not a good idea, check out my avatar, dont drink and drive, smoke and fly

They actually did a study years back and concluded that it is safer to drive stoned than drunk because you are aware that you are impaired and you will be more careful.

I can't believe you people have such a non-chalant attitude towards this.

FACT: Driving under the influence is bad. Excuses are LAME. I hate the attitude of 'sometimes it's not so easy to just take a cab'. In my 11 yrs of driving not once have I had to drive under the influence. I plan ahead every time. I cab home, I bus home, I stay with a friend, I use Drving Alternatives to take me and my car home. If you can't afford to take a cab home maybe you should rethink your night out.

I'm seriosuly not trying to hate on any of you but I find it appalling that such a casual attitude exists around this. Driving under the influence costs people lives, their own or someone elses. Trust me, I know.... 3 very important people in my life have been lost to me.

Yes, you are absolutely right. And I am sorry for the people you knew and had this awful destiny. Look, 2 months ago I had an accident with my scooter, I was fucking drunk and still rode it. I could have died, I crashed on the wall and the damage is 550 Euros ( 800 bucks ). I hate myself for that and I will never drive in such a state again. I have learned my lesson.
But when I go to the pub or to the club I know I can only handle a few drinks.
Another thing. I have friends who drive on E, coke, weed and alcohol and never had an accident in 6 years and I have been in their car and I saw they can still react, even though they are drunk or whatever.
But there are people ( like me ) that can´t handle those situations.
I was just asking for your opinion what would be safer....

aww haha, thanks! lol.. yeah it was TIGHT, i lived pretty close to the place u had ta go, n my friend sarah lived right up the road, n everyday in the summer i'd go up ther in the morning and smoke phattie with her.. she happened to have some keef this time, and i was like SHIEET we dont get THAT much.. so i was like FUCK IT, n got mad baked, n went fer my drive test right after. haha. it was awesome. i kept trying to talk to the dude, and couldn't figure out why he wasn't saying anything back... when i was done, he was all " im not allowed to talk to you while ur driving, sorry, i wasnt trying to be rude." haha, i was like ahhh werd brotha. lol...
