and, yeah, that's cool that Larry Campbell thinks that way, but he's not the dude that makes the rules up for this province. that would be good old Gordon Cambpell over in Victoria. i really doubt that Liberals (who are very business minded people) would allow just anyone to grow their own pot and smoke it. these are the same people that cut education and health care money so they could balance the budget...you really think they would pass up an opportunity to tax all of the pot they could? i doubt it.

don't assume i'm a stupid raver. a lot of the people on these boards are very smart people with valid opinions. you just look like you can't defend yourself by calling us stupid ravers.

legalizing pot is a very bad idea. Canada is seen by the rest of the world as a highly evolved, sane, peacefull, and respectable country. How would we look if we legalized pot? You really think the government is actually gonna erase the deficit and put it towards such things as health care and what not? I dont think so. Wrong, fuck, I say NO to legalizing, only because for a few reasons, it will kill bud dealers, and you will be getting SHIT weed, it will be taxed the fuck out, and you smoke it, and its shit, you complain, and you get nothing im sure. Keep it illegal, everyone does it now anyways, and cops dont really do much, i haevnt had trouble with cops and weed much at all, actually 1 time they took like a joint from me? The majority of the $6 billion (est.) industry here in British Columbia is NOT run by your pal with a pound in his backpack. It is run by organized crime, people that kill, embezzle, and place enormous strains on our legal, police, and health systems.

Legalize the shit out of it and tell your buddies to get real jobs or apply for a grow license.
