Pot Math!

Whoa... just thinking about large amounts and we figured out that it would take 1.3 Years of blazing one an hour for one person to smoke 13 pounds. Damn. That's absolutely sick...

one of my former bosses once told us of a time thaT it took him and his 3 friends 25 hours to smoke a pound of pot. he said he was stoned for a good 3 days after even though he hadnt smoked any since they finished the pound. the rules were simple. you always had to be smoking. if you got up to piss yo had to bring a doobie or a pipe. if you went to make some food you have to bring a doobie or a pipe.
i'm impressed. that a fuck of a lot of weed to smoke in a day

I heard that to actually OD on pot you'd need to smoke roughly 40 pounds of weed in under an hour. Probly a stat pulled outa someone's ass but kinda interesting all the same. So basically it is physically imposible to OD on weed.

If I decide to smoke, I grab an 1/8th and that lasts me the night if I share with a friend.

I heard about a study that was happening on weed, checking the effects it had on the brain. Turns out everything that it did to the brain was nullified after a month of purging.

And these people were smoking a shitload. It was stated that the highest amount one person would smoke in a day was an ounce a day. I remember hearing that and saying "Holy shit!"

A pound in 25 hours between 4 people? That's 4 ounces each. I call bullshit too. How did they smoke it, just light it on a big fire and inhale the fumes?

that's not even close to accurate

to put into perspective a couple of us ground up a half O / rolled it / smoked it in one sesh so prolly about an hour .. thats only a couple ppl..

so id imagine 1 person could get thru multiple ounces in a day

This is true.. Although you wouldn't OD from the THC. Smoke forty pounds of anything and see what happens...

the damn thing would probably be jammed... On that note however, I will say that you should always use a braun coffee grinder. In my experience they are the most durable.

As for the 40 pounds of weed needed to supposedly OD... It is true that a person would probably die of smoke inhalation rather than a reaction to the drug itself. Consuming it through food would be even less likely as the human stomach could never hold 10 pounds, let alone 40. If you were to smoke one joint after another until you get through the 40 lbs, your body would begin to detoxify before you could ever reach leathal levels. I would personally say that it is quite likely that you could never OD on pot, however, we need to keep in mind that there must be an opening left for the freak incidents where people simply react horribly. Allergic reactions possibly... Like peanuts, or bee stings... I dont know anyone who has allergies/intolerance to weed... if they're out there, they're in very very small numbers.

As for the 'stoner math' think about this one:
If you have 4 joints and a rollie, how many joints do you have?

The answer is 5.

Stoner math works like this: You smoke the 4 joints, saving the roaches from each. Then take the roaches and roll them into the 5th joint you've smoked.

Remember, to a stoner, 4 is 5.
So simple, we all understand it.
