homemade bongs?!
I came across the idea for this one day when after way to much third lunging my lungs were dieing.
I call it the waterfiltered third lung. First you make the third lung by taking an empty 2 liter pop bottle and cutting the bottom 2 inches off evenly, then take a bag just big enough to fit inside the bottle and tape the open edge of the bag to the edge of the bottle making sure its airtight. Second you make the mini bong (filter), take a shot bottle (like those whiskey shot samplers that come with your 2/6) and attach a bowl with stem through the top hole so the stem is just above the bottom of the bottle, then make a hole in the side near the top and glue some rubber hose about 10inch length to the hole. Next take the lid to the 2 liter and make a hole in it the size of the rubber hose and glue that on. Let the glue dry out, now once its all done fill up the filter with just enough water and pack the bowl, with the bag fully sucked into the 2 liter gradually pull the bag out as you light the bowl, now you'll have the smoothest third lung toke ever. |

not really The guy is talking about filtering the lung smoke through water. What sh4un just explained was only a variation on the sobe bong, which isnt even a bong at all, since there's no filtration. Remember kids, just because there's water involved does not necessarily mean it's a bong. |

I wouldn't recommend using plastic tubing in homemade bongs. If you have to use it, make sure it's 'foodsafe'. Also, be sure that no plastic or anything that can potentially melt is touching the bowl... unless you want to get ripped off of melted plastic fumes.

Very nice. Instructions? I knew you could use a heat gun, but I was always skeptical because of any possible emissions from the heat gun.. How does it heat the air? What do you use as a valve for the bag, or do you just hold it shut, ghetto styles? |
