Telus UT Starcom 6700 PDA Phone

Brand new... used maybe 4 times. It's literally just sitting on the counter.
If anyone is looking for a blackberry type phone this one's really cool. Brand new out.
The reason for trying to get rid of it is my bf doesn't want to change his number and is still using his old phone. All you'd have to do is take over the 3 year contract and put it in your name. There's still a few months free left on it.

$150

^ I use one of these and I LOVE it.

edit: when was it activated? And will you be paying the $25 transfer of ownership fee or will the buyer?

I'm pretty sure the $25 transfer of ownership fee will be taken care of. Like I said it just sits here and is never used.
Pass the word along if you know anyone looking for a phone like this. It's cheaper than going through Telus because of all their start up fees and such.

Actually, you are not saving anybody that much money, even if you do pay the $25 transfer fee for them. The 6700 is currently $99.00 on a 3-year term, and the activation fee is only $35.

So the start up fees for a brand-new one would be $134.99 + tax, which is still less than your price.

(not trying to be snarky here, just being fair)

Well I'm selling it for someone else plus there's also extended warranty purched with it. So it is still cheaper if people wanted that which is a good idea.

I think it's just on a basic plan right now(no add ons) so it's like 40-45 bucks.

She'll probably let it go for 75-100 bucks.

I'd consider that reasonable for this unit (used) right now.

The phone is on the cheapest rate plan right now and honestly it's only been used a few times and never dropped and no scratches on it.
Like Prozac said you can change the plan to suit your needs.
You can hardly consider it very used at all though... the last bill had no minutes used or anything on it.
$75 and it's yours or 50 and u pay the transfer fee.

^lol. you don't want 2 contracts, John.

btw...I think she just didn't think her original pricing through too much...however the phone is in brand-new condition and barely used, so I don't blame her for starting at the new price.

Actually buddy it's not even my phone first off. Secondly it was purchased for far more than $150 in total cost because there's been an extended warranty to cover it for the 3 year contract beyond what Telus has that only covers it for a few things.
Also with it being Christmas Telus has lowered the price of the phone with the 3 year contract so clearly this price had to be lowered here also. Like I stated before... the phone is going to waste by sitting here and no one using it so obviously we'd rather see someone get use out of it rather than paying the payments every month for nothing.
So how about before you go and try to say shit about me by putting me down, you actually read that i first made this thread over a month ago. I also put it on Craigslist and have had alot of calls even with the price being what it was before.

They did pay well over 150 for the phone after the extended warranty. So there would have to be some kind of profit involved for the price to be inflated which clearly isn't the case. She's just trying to cut as little losses as possible which is reasonable.

Yeah it wasn't even about trying to make a profit.
