Chain-Maille for sale and a plated aluminum Skirt

Hi there, just having a little shout out to all those who might be interested,

I've been known in the past to sell chain-maille bras and other lil' kinky things to wear, (I won't make an armor-grade shirt unless you give me 1/2 up front, and you are lucky)

I recently made a plated aluminum skirt. It has aluminum squares 1.5x1.5" with holes in all 4 corners, all the plates are stitched together with 1/4-hard stainless steel rings. It's really sexy .

36" around the top of it, but it's really designed to sit just on top of your hips, you gotta come see it to believe it (I'll try and take a picture of it for you shy ones) and I won't take less than 300$ for it, you can talk me down from 370$ if it makes you feel better, but.......

Wanna buy some custom made medieval fetish wear?

he he he.

The plated aluminum shirt that some of you might have seen me wearing out to the fetish events in town is NOT for sale, but I could make one like it for somewhere around 600-800$, I'd have to just keep a tally of time/material costs and tell you how much it costs when I'm done. Same thing 1/2 up front.

Another thing to think about, seeing as all my hand made Chainstuff is made out of a non-corosive stainless steel, you can wear it and not have it rust from all the sweat that ends up getting plastered all over it.

eg. stainless steel bra..

Oh, and for all you sneaky, crafty people who make stuff out there and want to trade?

NO DEAL, I only take CASH.

I really like the sound of that skirt, but I sure as hell don't have the money to afford it. Do you do any gyspie/belly dancer type stuff (bra's etc in gold or slilver colours)?

Either way I'd love to see some pics of your work, I'm a fetish fashion fanatic and creator myself so I'm always interested in chcking other people's work out.

I don't do chain-vests, because nobody has the cash to pay for the quality of weave that I pull off.

Somewheres around 1500$++ should do it!

But if you want some cheap-look-a-like thing that wouldn't keep out a small gnat (armorwise) then I could probably do one for 500$ plus or minus.........

I'll have to meet up with you one day and check out the weave.

I've been looking for a vest for a long time.

How heavy is your mesh? Obviously a thinner one would help for weight issues.

Well for a traditional style weave with just standard 4140 carbon steel a full shirt is around 40-50 lbs.

Now if I was to make that out of STAINLESS it would be MUCh stronger, but also noticably heavier, we could say around 70-90 lbs.

Made from aluminum, it would be a lot lighter, but would lose the strength factor of anti-stab that you'd want to have (unless it was for show, and then al. is just great)

har har :) Sure you would.

Here's some shitty pics of the garment I made for the first time working with pvc, boning AND grommets. (the leather collar and paddle aren't my creations.. I wish heh. They were made by a friend and photographer of the pics.. the hawt makeup was done by Gemma)

Thay aren't exactly the sexy you are looking for Watscum, but I figured while we were on the topic I'd take the chance to show off my work :kimmie:

p,s, isn't that collar harsh? (in both a good and bad way :P) it was very uncomfortable but made me feel very regal with my head held up like that.

front...

back...

(and yes I made both the corset-like top, gloves AND skirt.. however the skirt was made in an emergency and the only pvc I could find was waaay too thick for a skirt, but it is high gloss so it sure looks nice)

LOL, ok so that vest I'm wearing up there ^^ would do for your needs admerably, I would think, priced around 600$, it's light, you can move, skate, run and dance in it (20lbs) and yep, it's SHINY.

The collar is nice. The last one I made was plated aluminum on the outside, leather core, with a rabbit fur lining to caress your skin......

Can you make a straight mesh link vest? Or does that make the cost skyrocket?

I'm looking for something like this, no sleeves, waist length but with an open front to wear like a normal leather vest or have some snaps/hooks/clasps to cinch it together.

Or does the vest have to be closed as it would fall off my shoulders??

I had someone make one out of rubber for me in the past but it got stolen.

I'm sure that sinches/ties would work, the snaps might not work as well as you like, seeing as the garment is going to be heavy.

AND yes, having it mesh like that, custom made from expensive materials DOES make the price skyrocket.

Mistressgoingtobespankedbyabigmeany: Yes you should learn to work with leather-- Just because it smells good.

Thanks for adding the avatar, mr. administrator guy!!

HOw'd I learn it? Ha-- I have a natural urge to be kinky... I went to a friends house one day, she made chain-maille and I though it would look sexy on my girlfriend. She wanted WAY too much for it (I thought at the time) so I learnt how to make it myself from the internet!! haha look up "how to make chainmaille" on google as an example.

Took machining @ BCIT (the trade= make anything out of anything)

And here I sit with a dungeon and a plethora of cool metal lingerie 5 years after I saw the chains in my friends house.

**takes a breath.

Understand? :tounge1:

Here we go with the double posting.

As a side note, I charge a little extra (than your average chain-maille vendor) just for making a vest, It's a bloody pain to throw a damn vest together, you have ANY IDEA how many links go into one of those mofo's?

LOL.

I'd say 30,000++ ALL BY HAND>

And the reason why I charge so sensibly for custom chain bras?? because I LIKE covering boobies with metal, so I charge less.
