for most gen/snes/nes games you dont need a controller

the keyboard works fine!

that's a grand opinion.. except you missed one thing about the ps2. The games coming out for it are too advanced for the ps2. More loading screens, crappier graphics, etc.

I can see ps2 dying after gt4 comes out (if it comes out on ps2)

Xbox controllers feel good, maybe you were playing with those big ass controllers. The new "S" type has a better feel and its lighter than that monster.
Xbox has prettier graphics and since its fairly new, the loading times are a breeze, FPS' for xbox are my fav because the ps2 will never get the controls down.

What was the last insane game that was released on the ps2 and will never have an xbox/pc release?

If you say GTA San Andreas.. you're wrong! Xbox and pc will be shipping next year.

If you say the Gran Turismo series.. Hellz yeah, but i can see PGR soon dominating that market if polyphony digital doesnt get their heads out of their asses.

If i were you.. I'd get both.. I have both. its a win-win situation.

The new MS racer comes out pretty quick too... Forza Motorsport. I've heard nothing but good things about it....

I have an X-box.. But PPcock makes good points.. Having Both would be the best idea. Get a little bit of both worlds.

I have to agree that I like sitting on my couch playing much better than being chained to the computer.

Plus, my TV is 32". The computer monitor is only 17". LOGIC!

All of the people complaining about the big XBOX controller do realize that they came out with smaller ones right? Graphic wise, the xbox is more intense, but the game selection for PS2 is more fitted for my rpg obsession... If you want something new and different, get the DS or PSP. It will consume your soul and eat your brains.

I don't think I've quite ignored a significant other as much as when I have a hand held console in my hands.

Christ, I must be the only guy on the planet that thinks the old skool xbox controls are a nice, decent size. Maybe it's just this big meat hooks I have....
