House Dance @ Harbour

This is a intro to house dance class @ harbour dance centre, it runs for 8 weeks, u get 8 classes, for 88 dolla, holla!!!

It starts Saturday September 17th @ 1pm, and is every saturday at the same time!

Just went down tonight to show carries bf the level 2 class to see what it looked like (its a hard style to explain... kinda of a cross between hip hop, jazz, and tribal or something... LOTS of foot work!) SOOOO fuckin stoaked to start this class.. cant wait... if your interested .. just go down and pay the fee, theres still spaces available! hope to see a few familiar faces drop in! :D

house is SO hard...haha i find it really difficult to keep that upper body motion thing going that you gotta do...I dunno if you know what i mean veni but its damn difficult..haha I guess its just not my style. Is alex teaching it? If so thats rad, hes an awesome teacher ;)

ya... its mostly the footwork that scares me!!! .. but i think i will be ok.. its an intro class im doing.. so nothing too crazy.. the level 2 looks SOOOOO hard! and alex isnt teach (damnit.. hes so hot) its some girl named JoJo.. i think its a new person?...

im not sure.. mabie.... its an 8 week course.. so they might start another one once the 8 weeks is up.... :)

but yeah the footwork is the only thing i can really get..its just when i try and add the rocking of the body i loose it haha.

^^ ya thats what i like to call flailing.. theres an actual style called house dance.. that has a little more structure to it.... its soooo cool looking.. hopefully ill get super good at it and pick it up fast... then i can rock that shit it out in the middle of the club... mwuahaha.

Radness, this sounds intreststing yet dangerouse. Im really curiouse to see what this house dance is like, even wonder if I could handel it lol?

Ive always been intrested in hip hop, jazz, swing, and salsa... Im gonna use Veni's judegment and think about this :? Although I think the hardest part about it is 1pm on a Saturaday :p

ps: so what kind of house music do they dance to?

i think house dance is best compared to african style dancing, more tribal base. its quick, fast on your feet, more looser body movements, lots of upper body movements and high lows (jumps and tumbles on the ground)... i think some of you is mistaken this to like sexy grooving house. this is in your face, uptempo house. gonna be a great class. already signed up for the breakdancing class for later the afternoon already, or else id be into it!
