2 mackie SRS1530's & 2 mackie SRS1500's
These speakers have been taken care of meticulously. Both by me, and the previous owner, Jesiah. We both know how to run sound systems, and they have been run at their best abilities the whole time they have been touring clubs and warehouses around the greater Seattle area.
Most importantly, you won't be buying 5, 6, 7, or 8 year old speakers. I have had them regularly maintenanced, and more recently the woofers replaced on the mains and one sub, and the complete interworkings (amp, crossover, fuses, etc) of one of the mains replaced. All work done by a Mackie Certified Repair Shop. Here's the nitty gritty: 2 Mackie SR1530's (New woofers on both, 1 has a new amp) 2 Mackie SR1500's (New woofer on 1) $3000 usd All with regular maintenance and both show pride of ownership. A cable bin with more than enough cables to hook these up is included. Approximately $300-$350 worth of cable Also, these speakers have seen very little play lately. I've brought them out to a couple of shows within the last year. The rest of the time they are hooked up to my TV. Private showings are available if interested. Please, serious inquiries only. Call me 425-359-4580 You can email me as well [email protected] , or PM me here Thanks, -Mike |

Yes, they are entirely powered. The mains, and the subs. They put out 600 watts each.
as far as replacing the woofers, it was freak accidents on all parts (Mostly from improperly moving them in a vehicle). and the electronics on the one main, same thing. Some capacitor blew (the mackie guy said he'd only seen it happen one other time) and the whole amp had to be replaced. BTW, I don't know if you guys noticed, but I am in Seattle, and I don't think I'd get across the border with these. I would meet you half way though. This system would blow away a small hall... I've put these to use in a large shop and they blew that place away.... If interested, and you want to hear them, you can come to my house in Everett (1/2 hour north of seattle.. I'm about 2 hours or less from vancouver) and I will give you a show... Email me and let's work out a time: [email protected] |

I can make an account with paypal. I currently dont' have one now... Is there any way to make it a money order?
I would be much more likely to take a deal with a money order because I have never used paypal before, and I'm not fond of doing a money transaction over the internet. And of course, just a reminder, I need 3000 american which would equal 3,436.00 canadian... And whichever deal we do (paypal, or money order) I won't send the speakers with anybody until I get full payment. -Mike |

FYI:
you also have to pay 14% tax on the purchase price ($3,436.00 CND). And Mike will need to provide some sort of receipt stating that he sold them for the above price, otherwise Canada Customs WILL seize them if you try and cross the border if you don't have any proof of how much you paid for them. |

OK, so after doing some quick research, it states that items are duty/tax free when returning to canada, if they are for personal use, and the item/s were made in the united states, or canada, or if there are no markings stating they were made outside of the united states, or canada.
All of these speakers were made right here in Washington State.... And as far as personal use, for me, they are hooked up to my TV... Nabs, You've got a tv, right? -Mike |
