If you cant figure out how to do a good set using "less than the best" equipment, i doubt youd be able to do all that better with high end equipment. A Great DJ would be able to adapt. TUrn those lemons into LEMONAID |

^ i hear that! techs are rock solid. there is no reason not to go with the best . Good luck in your search man
I just thought that it was funny for him to say a dj is only as good as the equipment he uses. As if buying a pair of brand new shiny technics has anything to do with being a good dj. |

^^lol i fucken rock the numarks, lol. i dont need techs to prove myself, i need them to expand my limits.
Give me any decks now, since ive spun on shitty decks for about a year now, give me any decks (except belt driven), and i can rock them, no problem i bet. |

anyways we got to talkin indepth and i congratualted him on his success and how lucky he was that he is able to travel the world on drum and bass. he response was "yeah its all cool in your 20's but you cant retire on it....there is no fucking way." anyway's he went on to tell me how all the oldscool guys back in england like grooverider have kids now and they all find it difficult financially. it was a fascinating and very eye opneing conversation. |
