Im looking for a pair of Tech 12's, Good Condition, Preferably Black, but tell me what you got. Im looking for them asap. and are willing to pick up asap.

Got a lil down payment? like $300? Go and finance them from Long and McQuade, Payments are like $110 a month for a year ( L & M only allow financing for only a year)

Buying brand new decks is the best, The pitch is brand spanking new, not all loose and worn. Also knowing that somebodys grubby hands haven't been all over them and that you're the first to use them is always better.

I upgraded to MK'2 after 2 months I bought and returned some crappy begginers. Dj's can only be as good as their equipment allows them to be, Buy the best, and Strive to be the best. Good Luck.

i strongly disagree. how many of the sets of techs he will be playing out on will be BRAND NEW? none. if you really think it makes that much of a difference at all, than its probably better he gets used to not so new techs, that is, if it makes any difference at all. dont waste your money nabeeb

How can you say Used is Better than new? thats just a oxy moron. The Tech's motor will still react like a Tech, but new, you know it hasn't been ratt bagged or moved around too much.

omg your soo cool! its not like i couldnt afford new techs either, but i choose my purchases wisely. id rather have a whole studio of used stuff than just a few cool new toys.

I have not a single regret after 3 years on mine. After 3 years and only me mainly using them....they are still in tip top shape. I love it. Worth it? Buy it and find out. For real.

Nobody books me. Dj'ing isn't the greatest paying occupation in Van. I realized that like 2 years ago. I spin for the pure enjoyment of it.

edit. Playing at a rave of club on regular basis...having to stay up till 4-5am all the time...getting paid a bar tab or $40 bucks ( if not voluntary ) just to Dj for ppl is hardly worth my while. I look at it in the big picture, I ain't getting any younger, and I sure aint wasting my time trying to make DJ'ing a career.

Get a real job son.

Theres LOTS of people I know who make a good living off the scene..

(Djs & promoters alike) If you suck at DJing or are too lazy to put the work into planning eventes then yeah.. its a waste of time..

Last time I checked the going rate of Booking a DJ is at LEAST $100...

I will never book out my dj's for any less.

The costs of living are going up in Vancouver, The gap between the Rich and Poor is clearly getting bigger and bigger in Van, I certainly aint wasting anymore crucial years here, I aint trying to fulfill a dream of being a DJ. Now thats pathetic.

3 delegates, Not many, Van doesn't have the best industry for this...even our biggest producers in Van dont get the recognition they deserve....
